Just a few healthy rock solid products that truly work to benefit your weight loss journey, a program with people to be by your side every step of the way, a good balance diet and an easy yet effective exercise program that you can stick with. It's an easy, doable program that will stick with you, along with great results, well afterwards to help maintain a healthy weight.  I'd love to help you when your ready.

How Do I Get Started
As always, you can order anything anytime, as much or as little as you want with not being Member at all. If you'd prefer to save 15% on your products, you can always join as a Member, which is a one time $19.95 fee. This fee is waived with the purchase of a Healthy Weight Regimen. If you're a little greedy and like things as cheap as you can get them like me, and 15% is just not enough savings for you, you can always place your products on Auto-ship and you'll save an additional 10%. Auto-ship can be adjusted, stopped and started whenever you want. It's all up to you. Never any pressure. It's always your choice. There are no monthly requirements like some companies do. You only order what you want, when you want, how you want. Shaklee is good like that.

Real People - Real Stories - Real Weight Loss
If you are like me, you are skeptical of the above stories. "Oh, they just pay people to make those videos to look good."  I don't have a large weight loss need, so I've never personally used the whole program. I've met people who have. They are real. They got results. They are happy.

I wanted to share this video, since the location is 'close to home'. Sometimes that's more 'real' for people to see these when it's from closer to their area. I am "computer friends" with another girl who won one of their competitions before. This video is a gentlemen from Kankakee, IL. There are so many regular, ordinary people who have had such amazing results.

Your weight loss journey is doable too. You just have to jump in and start.

Good Treats

Got a few good recipe's to share with you.  Not healthy, just good.

I've have never really been all that thrilled with any banana bread recipe I've tried. Until this one. Seems to have the perfect blend of sweetness to nanner's.

These Oreo ice cream cups are from the Pioneer Woman. Seriously, you can't go wrong with her recipe's. They are always easy with normal ingredients. I love her cookbooks and show on Food Network. She's got some awesome meat sauce and fettuccine recipe's.But for today, we are zeroing in on Oreo's, because...can you really go wrong with adding Oreo's to anything? I think not. I'm thinking these would also be good using Thin Mints.

Wicked Storm Clouds

These dark low rolling clouds blew through yesterday, and produced absolutely nothing. No wind. No rain. Not one rumble of thunder. Very strange.

Park Hopping

Today I had planned to get a little work done, some laundry and some errands. While out for one of my errands, I realized how incredibly nice it was outside today. Given the warm, humid, rainy days we've had lately, it seemed even extra nice. Soooo we said to heck with work, it will be there tomorrow along with tomorrow's work. We packed a lunch and had a picnic at a park a few towns over. Then stopped at 2 more parks on our way back. One we've never stopped at, so how cool is stopping at a new park.

Do you ever toss work out the window on a nice day for some fun plans in order to enjoy the good weather?  I don't usually, but I just got a little crazy today !!!

Hope you enjoyed the nice day today if your area had one.

Dragonfly Condo

Ashlyn found an injured dragonfly in our back yard and was determined to nurse it back to health before setting it free. After being pampered, this little guy may never leave. Actually, for those of you concerned about the bug being tortured. I talked her into letting it nap, and it "flew away" while she was gone. So no worries, he's healthy and free.

It all started with a bowl with a few drops of water, plastic wrap with holes and stickers.

She started out making him cozy.

Here was the whole set up. After his nap on that bed, when Ashlyn went to do other things, is when he escaped. Was funny how he appeared he could fly, but was not. If she was on our hand, he just hung on. He'd flap around but not fly away. Later when I put him under a tree, he was not there very long. Maybe he was coming back looking for his nice bachelor pad she set up.

Girl Scouts at the Zoo

The Girl Scouts got treated to a year end trip to the zoo. A couple of the girls didn't go, so it was a small group, but they had fun. I won't bore you with all the typical animal picture's that I'm sure you've seen thousands of times.

First Time Fishing

Ashlyn's friends family took her fishing recently. Her first time ever fishing. She didn't catch anything, but thought it was very cool and is ready to go again.

Baggy Ice Cream

In school, Ashlyn's class made ice cream in a bag. So we just tried it at home. Turned out pretty good. We should have had more ice, but we didn't have time to freeze more. So ours set up okay, but would have been more so with more ice. Taste wise it was really good.

There are a ton of recipe's online. It's usually a combination of milk, half and half, sugar and vanilla. And you'll need 2 sizes of freezer bags, ice and rock salt.

Mix the milk, half and half, sugar and vanilla in the quart size freezer bag. Get as much air out as you can and seal. Put this bag in a gallon freezer bag with ice and salt. And shake the bajesus out of it.

Have you ever tried this quick version of ice cream before? How did it turn out? Any good tips for us? It's a fun thing to do with kids.

TeeBall

Teeball is just another summer activity that she loves. It's so cute and fun to watch them all. They are in such early stages of learning all the rules.

Swimming Lessons

Ashlyn has made big progress this year in the pool. She swim great with her face goggles on. We've got her down to just eye goggles and she didn't really back track like I thought she might. She never liked having her face in the water. She's still going under and off the diving board. And on the last day, she went through the whole class and off the diving board with no goggles. Huge progress.

She rode in the car the whole way like this. She loves the water and has been asking when lessons start for months now.
